VIA TEMPORA

Turning a stay into a discovery of the territory

VIA TEMPORA is a showcasing tool for territories, destinations and tourism players. The principle fits in one sentence: you offer access to your guests, and they discover your territory instead of driving through it.

First prize, BoostCampus 47 · 2026 edition

The idea

The journey begins long before arrival

A visitor picks their accommodation without necessarily planning to explore the surroundings. With VIA TEMPORA, they meet the territory from the road onwards — then at a standstill, with the routes you have composed for them.

The aim is to trigger a trip to a village, a monument, a market, a natural site that was not planned. For the territory: more visitors for its towns, sites, shops and local activities.

Who it is for

  • Tourist offices and destinations

Showcasing a whole territory to those who drive through it

  • Local authorities

    Towns, inter-municipal bodies, départements, regions

  • Accommodation

Hotels, campsites, holiday lets, bed and breakfasts

  • Producers and trades

    Vineyards, local produce, craftsmanship

  • Tourist sites and operators

    Museums, castles, natural sites, activities

What you gain

  • A new tool for showcasing your territory
  • A richer experience for your guests
  • A more attractive destination
  • A simple collaboration, with no development on your side

What you make available to your guests

  1. 01

    Complimentary access

You offer your guests, for a defined period, full access to the app — including the routes composed for them.

  2. 02

    A QR code to share

In your welcome emails, at reception, on your website and printed material. The visitor downloads the app in one gesture.

  3. 03

    Your own routes

You compose themed routes in Route Mode: heritage, villages, gastronomy, landscapes. They are labelled as partner routes, distinct from the editorial content.

A scenario

From one campsite to a whole territory

Take a tourist destination and its network of accommodation providers. Here is how a stay becomes a discovery.

  1. 01

    The destination initiates the partnership

The tourist office mobilises its network of hosts: campsites, hotels, bed and breakfasts, holiday lets.

  2. 02

    The hosts pass it on

Each one relays the offer to its guests, before arrival or at reception.

  3. 03

    The holidaymaker is invited

A welcome email, a QR code, a leaflet on site: they download VIA TEMPORA.

  4. 04

    Access is offered

For the length of their stay, they have the routes composed by the destination.

  5. 05

    They pick a route

Heritage, river, villages, gastronomy, landscapes: the themes of the destination.

  6. 06

    They set off

They leave their accommodation to go and see places in the territory for themselves.

  7. 07

    They discover

A village, a monument, a natural site, a market, a restaurant, an activity they had not planned to visit.

  8. 08

    The territory benefits

More visitors for its towns, sites, shops and local activities.
