The VIA TEMPORA name, the name Abeona, the visual identity, the texts of the stories, and the structure and content of this website are protected by intellectual property law. Any reproduction or representation, whole or partial, without prior written permission is prohibited.

The stories the app plays are original works written from files of sources; reproducing them outside the app is not permitted.

04Sources and public data

The content of the app is established from public data and documentary sources, reused in accordance with their respective licences:

  • Institut national de l’information géographique et forestière (IGN) — BD TOPO® and Géoplateforme (route calculation, address search through the Base Adresse Nationale).
  • French Ministry of Culture — the Mérimée database of architectural heritage and historic monument records.
  • Institut national de la statistique et des études économiques (INSEE) — population figures and the official geographic code.
  • DATAtourisme — tourism data published by local authorities.
  • Wikidata and Wikipedia — content under the Creative Commons BY-SA licence.

  • Literata, a typeface under the SIL Open Font License, used throughout the product.
  • Kokoro and sherpa-onnx, for Abeona’s on-device speech synthesis.
  • Supabase, for account hosting and synchronisation.

06Reporting content

A factual error in a story, data that should not be there, content you believe to be unlawful: write to [address to be completed]. From inside the app, “Signaler un problème” sends us the story in question directly.
